Fiber Laser Cutting in Ohio
ForMasters provides fiber laser cutting at our Mentor, Ohio facility, serving manufacturers in Cleveland and beyond. Our 10,000-watt Mitsubishi fiber laser cuts metal components from your drawings, with additional forming and welding available to support finished parts and assemblies.
Our equipment supports cutting applications up to 1 inch thick, depending on the material and project requirements. Send the material grade, thickness, and part geometry so our team can confirm suitability.
Automated Sheet Handling
A stacker-loader separates sheets for loading, and a sensing unit checks material thickness before cutting. This automation supports repeat production and material handling.
CNC Press Brake Forming
Two Mitsubishi CNC press brakes provide forming capacity up to 275 tons and lengths up to 10 feet. CNC back gauges support positioning for formed parts, including irregular shapes. Available capacity depends on the material, thickness, bend length, and tooling.
Robotic Welding and Custom Fixtures
Our robotic welding cell supports repeat production of welded assemblies. Our engineering and tool room teams design and build fixtures to hold components for the welding process.
Prototype and Production Support
Laser cutting and press brake forming can help develop prototypes while production tooling is being built. This gives customers an opportunity to evaluate part geometry and forming requirements before committing to higher-volume production.
The fabrication department also supports metal stamping and roll forming projects, including blank development, tooling components, checking fixtures, and interlocking parts for weldments.
